Vertical Rescue

INTRODUCTION

SpanSet Australia’s Vertical Rescue course is designed primarily for those people who may be involved in the emergency response rescue of fallen workers from cliffs, structures and towers. This training provides each participant with the necessary practical skills required to effectively and safely rescue a suspended or incapacitated worker in a vertical situation.

“Attached” climbing, lead climbing and descending of towers, pylons and poles can be also incorporated in to the course dependant on client requirements.

Participants will gain an understanding of the basic use and inspection of equipment used in vertical rope rescue as well as the necessary skills required for various rescue techniques, anchor selection and rigging.
