Tower and Pole Rescue

INTRODUCTION

SpanSet Australia’s Tower and Pole Rescue is a Nationally Recognized course that has been designed primarily for those people required to work at height in the power and telecommunications industry. The training provides each participant with the necessary practical skills required to effectively and safely rescue a suspended or incapacitated worker from a structure such as a tower, pylon or pole.

Participants will gain an understanding of the basic use and inspection of equipment used in vertical rope rescue as well as the necessary skills required for various rescue techniques, anchor selection and rigging. Participants will also gain the knowledge and skills required for risk assessment, casualty management and first aid procedures involved with rope rescue activities
