All SpanSet lanyards feature back up straps should the tear web be fully deployed, and all are certified to AS/NZS 1891.1 2007.   With heavy duty, alloy steel, corrosion resistant components, and high tenacity polyester webbing they offer outstanding safety and value to this range.

STANDARD FEATURES

Code

Description

1 Tear web energy absorber
Limits the forces to under 6kN should a fall occur as per
Australian/New Zealand standards.

2 Heavy duty alloy steel fittings
Robust and lightweight, offer genuine user acceptance and
confidence with corrosion resistance, high quality feel, and
smooth function.

3 Polyester webbing
High tenacity polyester webbing gives better value, strength
and safety through longevity. Polyester is UV resistant and
does not lose strength when it becomes wet. All this in a
high visibility webbing that is soft and pliable to the touch.

4 Kernmantle Rescue standard rope
11mm kernmantle rope fully complies to AS 4142.3 with full length tracer tape and contrasting sheath over a white core. This allows an objective inspection criteria by highlighting the damaged sheath against the inner core and takes the guesswork and assumptions out of the inspection process..

5 High tensile contrasted stitching
The high tensile computerised sew pattern give repeatable
uniformity compared to manual sew patterns. The contrasting
colour makes inspection easier..

6 Stowage loops on all twin lanyards
The need for an operator to avoid connecting an unused leg of
a twin lanyard is critical. To avoid this, each SpanSet twin leg lanyard has clearly marked stowage points for unused lanyard legs. They are also rated in case of misuse.
