/ 512 GDD Climbing Wall Descender
This device has been developed for use
in the specific market of climbing wall
fall protection and descent control.
The device retracts cable as fast as the
climber can ascend the climbing wall, and
then lower the climber at a controlled
speed when the climber reaches the top or
falls. A usage counter alerts the operator
to the requirements for servicing. It has
the added security of two separate brakes,
one primary and one backup, both of which
are capable of functioning separately
while still ensuring safe descent speeds.
